Leah Marie Clausing, 44, Alma, was convicted of issue of worthless checks, fined $443 and ordered to pay $184.03 in restitution (plus a 10% surcharge fee) Feb. 6. The charges stemmed from incidents Feb. 11, 2020; Dec. 30, 2021; and Jan. 1, 2022.

Corey Michael Heald, 38, Stillwater, Minn., was convicted of resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct and fined $421.60 Feb. 1. The charges resulted from a Dec. 3, 2012 incident.

Felony possession of methamphetamine and possess drug paraphernalia charges against Venus Mildred Marquez-Melendez, 42, Red Wing, Minn., were dismissed Feb. 2. The charges stemmed from a May 8 incident.
