Initial appearances Nicole Marie Adams, 49, Prescott, pleaded not guilty and entered a $1,000 signature bond on a disorderly conduct charge Aug. 22. A status conference is set for 4 p.m. Sept. 22.

Roman Lee Fuqua, 26, Cable, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond Aug. 17 on a resisting or obstructing an officer charge. A status conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. Nov. 7.

Andrew E. Krech, 39, Supervised Living Facility, Stanley, posted a $10,000 signature bond Aug. 22 on felony burglary – building or dwelling (repeater) and criminal damage to property (repeater) charges. A preliminary hearing is slated for 2 p.m. Sept. 6.

Miranda Jamie Mc-Namara, 32, River Falls, posted a $10,000 signature bond Aug. 22 on felony neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur and child under 6 or disability) and neglecting a child (specified harm did not occur) charges. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Sept. 15.

Sean William Murphy,

25, River Falls, pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 signature bond Aug. 22 on disorderly conduct (domestic abuse) and criminal damage to property charges. A pre-trial conference is set for 1:30 p.m. Sept. 22.

Michelle L. Tietz, 47, River Falls, failed to make an Aug. 22 initial appearance for a felony theft – business setting (>$5,000-$10,000) charge. A bench warrant was issued for her arrest.

Devin Brody Wiebusch,

38, Red Wing, Minn., pleaded not guilty and posted a $2,500 signature bond Aug. 22 on OWI-second and operating with PAC-second charges. A pre-trial conference is slated for 2 p.m. Sept. 22.

Deferred cases Kyle Bradley Huppert, 46, Bay City, pleaded guilty to violate harassment restraining order – temporary restraining order and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement Aug. 17. A violate harassment restraining order – temporary restraining order charge was dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents May 17 and 20, 2021.

Jared Albert Jones, 36, Boyceville, was convicted of misdemeanor bail jumping Aug. 17 and fined $443. He also pleaded guilty to and entered into a deferred judgment of conviction agreement on an unlawful phone use – threatens harm charge. Three misdemeanor bail jumping charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from incidents Oct. 24, 25, 26 and 27, 2021.

Closed cases Juan Alor Calzada, 37, Ellsworth, was convicted of operating while revoked and fined $443 Aug. 22. The charge resulted from an Aug. 27, 2020 traffic stop.

Charlene Barbee, 48, River Falls, was convicted of operating while revoked and fined $443 Aug. 17. The charge stemmed from an April 19, 2021 traffic stop.

Kenneth Bertram Pechacek Diercks, 54, Hager City, was convicted of felony OWI-seventh/eighth/ ninth (alcohol fine enhancer), battery and two felony OWI-fifth/sixth (alcohol concentration > .25) charges Aug. 17, sentenced to three years in prison and five years of extended supervision, fined $6,021, ordered to pay $339.59 in restitution and adhere to a lifetime driver’s license revocation. Three felony operating with PAC (alcohol fine enhancer), three operating while revoked (alcohol related), possession of THC and three felony bail jumping charges were dismissed. A criminal damage to property charge was read-in for restitution purposes but dismissed. The charges resulted from incidents April 22, 2022; Dec. 11, 2021; and April 11, 2021.

Ishmael C. Ewing, 33, Jackson Correctional, Black River Falls, was convicted of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property Aug. 22, sentenced to nine months in jail, fined $886 and ordered to pay $1,179 in restitution (plus a 10% surcharge fee). The charges stemmed from a May 2, 2021 incident.

A felony neglecting a child (harm did not occur and child under 6 or disability) charge against Chandra Helton, 24, River Falls, was dismissed Aug. 17 upon completion of a deferred judgment of conviction agreement. The charge resulted from a Sept. 1, 2020 incident.

Three disorderly conduct charges against Jared Albert Jones, 36, Boyceville, were dismissed Aug. 17. The charges stemmed from incidents June 15, 2018; June 29, 2018; and June 24, 2018.

Nathan J. Titus, 40, St. Cloud, Minn., was convicted of disorderly conduct and fined $277.80 Aug. 18. The charge resulted from a June 7, 2021 incident.
