PRESCOTT – On Monday, June 7, volunteers met to clean-up and dress-up the flower garden at the entrance to Pine Glen Cemetery in Prescott. Thrivent Action Team monies are providing funding for this beautification project.
A huge thank you goes out to all the wonderful volunteers. Recognition should also be given to Paula Fiedler, Mark Mueske, and others who cared for the flower garden for many, many years.
Our next goal is to organize community members to help clean up the exterior perimeter of the cemetery. If you have a few extra hours, a strong back, a desire to remove dead trees and brush or an old truck, please contact Jayne Brand at City Hall at 715-262-5544 or [email protected] for information about how you can help enhance the appearance of Pine Glen Cemetery.
