The holidays have come and gone too quickly, but time still seems to stand still at the care center due to seasonal illnesses currently affecting residents and staff. We had to cancel all scheduled activities from right before Christmas and into the new year, but activities staff have done their very best to keep spirits bright and residents smiling!
We’ve played socially distanced Bingo and Pokeno games (one resident per table), gone room to room for singalongs with the guitar and passed out goodies galore at multiple in-room happy hours. Aaliyah has passed out numerous bags of freshly made popcorn and pampered the ladies one-by-one with manicures in their rooms. Noel has visited many folks for one-on-one conversations and card games, such as Uno; as well as joining Stacey for our most recent in-room Happy Hour and photo shoot: A Day at the Beach!
