RIVER FALLS Police Department Reports
The following incidents were reported to the River Falls Police Department May 24-26.
Tuesday, May 24
Bryant Killibrew, 51, River Falls, turned himself in voluntarily at 708 N. Main St. at 7:04 a.m. for a St. Croix County warrant. He was transported to St. Croix County Jail without incident.
Gina Cheyenne McDaniels, 25, New Richmond, was cited for possession of THC after a traffic stop for speeding at 6:54 p.m. on West Division Street near Apollo Road. When police pulled her over, they smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle. McDaniels consented to a vehicle search, which revealed a handgun and marijuana in small glass jars.
The officer gave her four months to take a concealed carry class; because she had a 1-year-old child in the vehicle with the marijuana and unsecured handgun, Child Protective Services was also notified. Police responded at 7:38 p.m. to 431 N. Second St. to take a stolen bicycle report.
The complainant said some- one had taken her daughter’s purple and blue bike with white tires from the backyard sometime in the past hour.
The bike was valued at $50.
Wednesday, May 25
At 12:24 p.m., a resident came to the police station to report the theft of 50 zipper charms from a kiosk at 125 N. Main St. A Ring camera video showed a middle-aged woman stealing the charms at 5:54 p.m. May 24. The loss is $250. The woman, once identified, will be tres passed from the store.
Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at 2 p.m. on Kusilek Street just south of West Maple Street between a legally parked 2009 FRHT P70D (UPS truck), driven by Robert Richard P 45, River Falls, and a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse, driven by Phyllis Marie Foley, 82, River Falls. The UPS truck was parked on the west side of the road facing south.
Foley was backing out of a driveway in the 200 block of Kusilek Street and backed into the rear driver’s side corner of the truck. The truck had minor paint transfer, while Foley’s vehicle had minor damage. Foley and passenger Donald R. Foley, 83, River Falls, wore seat belts and reported no injuries. Patton was making a delivery at the time of the crash and was not in the truck.
Thursday, May 26
At 10:38 a.m., the River Falls School Resource Officer was notified a third-grad er at Greenwood Elementary had been found to have marijuana in their backpack, along with a glass pipe and lighter. Pierce County Child Protective Services was contacted. The child appeared sleepy and wouldn’t interact with teachers.
At 2:10 p.m., the property owner of 403 S. Wasson Lane reported damage to a garage door for unit #5. It appeared someone had struck the door and not reported the damage, which was estimated to be $600 to repair.
