ELLSWORTH Police Department Reports

The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department April 4-10.

Monday, April 4

Police responded at 10:22 p.m. to 188 Evergreen Estates St. for a domestic. Cameron Dickinson, 29, Ellsworth, was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct and endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.

At 10:37 p.m., Pierce County deputies responded to 620 S. Piety St. for an unwanted person.

Tuesday, April 5 Allen McCuen, 35, Elmwood, was arrested for a probation violation at 10:10 a.m. at 310 W. Main St.

Wednesday, April 6

During a security check at 12:46 a.m., an open door was found at Kinni Café. Police made sure the building was clear and contacted the keyholder.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at 6:54 a.m. at Main and Maple streets between Mitchell Johnson, 17, Hager City, and a Timothy Johnson, 52, Durand.

Police responded at 2:15 p.m. to Ellsworth Elementary (445 N. Piety St.) for a child injured on the playground.

Thursday, April 7

Officers were called at 1:53 a.m. to 191 Evergreen Estates St. for an argument between father and sons. Chace Williams, 27, Ellsworth, was arrested for bail jumping.

Daniel Ditzler, 52, Bay City, was arrested for a probation violation at 8:35 a.m. at 301 W. Main St.

Friday, April 8

Officers assisted Pierce County deputies at a rollover crash at 6:44 a.m. at Highway 10 and 810th Street.

At 10:01 a.m., a resident reported a man taking pictures of the residence at 841 N. Grant St. The man left in a silver newer model Chrysler 300. Police checked the area but didn’t locate the vehicle. The man wore a grey shirt, brown jacket, blue jeans, glasses and had grey hair.

Jerlin Feuntes Ortega, 24, Oakdale, Minn., was cited for operate without a valid license after a traffic stop at 12:01 p.m. at North Terrace Avenue and East Main Street.

After a 1:15 p.m. traffic stop in the 100 block of East Main Street that resulted in a verbal warning for speeding, the man who had gotten pulled over called the police station to file a formal complaint against the officer at 2:20 p.m. He was asked to call the station on Monday to lodge his complaint.

James Leonard, 28, Ellsworth, was arrested for a probation violation at 2:31 p.m. at 310 W. Main St.

Cejay Dickinson, 37, Ellsworth, was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign after a traffic stop at 5:48 p.m. at Maple Street and Midway Avenue. The officer witnessed Dickinson fail to stop at Cairns and Maple streets.

Will Simkins, 18, River Falls, was arrested and cited for possess drug paraphernalia and possession of alcohol when underage after a traffic stop for speeding at 7:13 p.m. at North Terrace Avenue and East Main Street.

Saturday, April 9

Police responded to a slowspeed fender bender at 3:48 p.m. in the 600 block of East Main Street between Jeffrey Amoth, 54, Walhalla, N.D., and Stanley Gilles, 70, Roberts. Police gave them selfreport forms and documented the crash.

Sunday, April 10

Officers responded at 2:35 a.m. to 191 Evergreen Estates St. where two men and their father were arguing. Chase Williams, 27, Ellsworth, and Cody Williams, 27, Ellsworth, were arrested for bond violations.

Scott Murphy, 59, Ellsworth, was cited for failing to wear a seat belt after a traffic stop at 1:47 p.m. in the 100 block of East Main Street.

A resident called police to report a missing wallet at 3:21 p.m. The wallet, which is blue with whales on it, was lost somewhere near Strickland and Grant streets.

At 4:40 p.m., a resident walking his dog reported a homeowner near Piety and Main streets coming outside to yell at him because his dog walked on the man’s property. Police arrived and separated the two. Nothing physical occurred.
