The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department Jan. 24-30.

Monday, Jan. 24

A resident reported possible fraud from a stolen or missing debit card at 9:13 a.m. at 1303 Debra St.

Police advised a resident at 6:01 p.m. not to answer phone calls from unknown numbers, in relation to a harassment complaint. They promised to provide extra patrol in the 200 block of North Maple Street.

Tuesday, Jan. 25

Ellsworth High School staff reported a student vaping in the bathroom at 10:36 a.m. The student admitted to vaping. The student and parent were informed a citation will be mailed.

Police responded to Ellsworth High School (323 Hillcrest St.) to speak to a student who inappropriately touched another student’s thigh. The student admitted to making a mistake.

Police assisted St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office personnel in recovering possible stolen property at 7:45 p.m. from 141 Evergreen Estates St.

Wednesday, Jan. 26

Police responded to a twovehicle crash at 2:41 p.m. at Main and Pond streets between Matthew Thomas Enberg,

33, Ellsworth, and another vehicle. Enberg, who was heading eastbound, crossed the center line and struck the other vehicle. He is facing an operating left of center forfeiture in Pierce County Traffic Court.

Officers were called at 5:58 p.m. to 175 E. Susan St. for a verbal domestic. Both parties were advised to separate for the evening.

Thursday, Jan. 27

At 10:39 a.m., police attempted to make contact with a woman at 262 Grant St. who had a felony warrant for withholding children from their father. Police could see her through the windows, but she ignored their commands and went upstairs. Young children were present.

At 11:57 a.m., a caller from 401 W. Hillcrest St. reported a missing 9-year-old blue tick hound with a teal collar.

Friday, Jan. 28 Adam R. Lofquist, 47, Ellsworth, was arrested on a probation violation at 1:23 p.m. at 310 W. Main St.

Charles E. Holerud, 54, Ellsworth, was arrested without incident for a felony failure to appear warrant at 7 p.m. at 463 E. Wall St.

Sunday, Jan. 30

Officers responded at 8:23 a.m. to 183 E. Sunset Lane for a domestic incident. A man there had taken away some medication.

At 1:35 p.m., a woman at 141 S. Maple St. reported damage to the passenger side her vehicle. She believed it had happened sometime in the last two days.
