The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department Jan. 1016.

Monday, Jan. 10

Police responded at 7:23 a.m. to a domestic incident at 167 Evergreen Estates St.

A complainant reported garbage bags piling up on a porch at 4:52 p.m. at 419 S. Church St. The resident said he was moving soon and was getting a dumpster.

Anthony Price Jr., 54, Ellsworth, was arrested for OWI-seventh after a traffic stop at 6:46 p.m. at North Maple Street and Golf Course Lane.

Tuesday, Jan. 11

A resident in the 232 S. Piety St. reported vandalism to a tire on her spare vehicle at 12:06 p.m. Someone had cut the side wall of the tire sometime between Jan. 7-11.

Luis Sacagualan, 31, Ellsworth, was arrested for OWI after a traffic stop for driving extremely slowly and impeding traffic at 11:20 p.m. near North Maple Street and Midway Avenue.

Thursday, Jan. 13

A neighbor requested a welfare check at 8:39 p.m. of 419 W. Church St. When police arrived, the front door was wide open, the lights were on and the residence was filled with junk from people who had just moved out. The property owner said the wind must’ve blown the door open. He stated he’d arrive the next day to clean it up.

Friday, Jan. 14

An officer gave a Minnesota woman a courtesy ride to the Red Wing Kwik Trip at 6:19 p.m. The woman had just been released from jail and had no one to give her a ride home. Due to weather conditions and no 24-hour businesses open in Ellsworth, police gave her a ride.

Officers assisted Pierce County with an OWI traffic stop at 11:18 p.m. near East Main and Broadway streets.

Saturday, Jan. 15

A resident in the 100 block of South Utility Street reported hearing a loud bang or gunshot at 12:07 a.m. Nothing was found in the area.

Sunday, Jan. 16

At 1:50 a.m., an employee at 325 W. Main St. reported a woman identified as Ashley Goldbeck, 30, Dresser, who backed her car into a fence and fled the scene.

Officers assisted Pierce County deputies with a traffic stop/vehicle search at 8:08 a.m. near 610th Avenue and 670th Street. Three people were arrested.
