ELLSWORTH Police Department Reports

The following incidents were reported to Ellsworth Police Department Nov. 8-14.

Monday, Nov. 8

At 1:28 a.m., police advised a resident at 721 Campbell St. that junk around the home needs to be cleaned up or a citation will be issued.

Officers assisted Ellsworth Fire at 5:10 a.m. at 579 Vincent Lane.

Police responded to a minor two-vehicle crash at 4:39 p.m. at Maple and Grove streets between Julia Anderson, 16, Ellsworth, and Kelei Johnson, 50, Ellsworth.

Jason Passofaro, 24, River Falls, was cited for operating without proof of insurance after a traffic stop for speeding at 6:36 p.m. at East Main and Broadway streets.

Tuesday, Nov. 9

Police assisted EMS at 10:20 a.m. with a person who fell inside the store at 157 E. Main St.

Thursday, Nov. 11 David Lunde, 25, Prescott, was arrested for a probation violation at 11:47 a.m. at 310 W. Main St. and transported to the jail without incident.

Friday, Nov. 12

An officer assisted PCSO with a driving complaint at 3:52 p.m. at West Ridge Road and 710th Street.

At 7:38 p.m., police noticed a large pile of junk on a trailer and around a home at 103 S. Pond St. Police issued a warning for the residents to cover the car parts if they’re going to be stored on the trailer or they could be cited.

Patrick Wright, 51, Ellsworth, was cited for operating while suspended after a traffic stop at 8:39 p.m. at North Main and West Beulah streets. A friend drove him home.

At 10:42 p.m., a person reported a suspicious man in the 200 block of West Main Street. Police made contact with the man, who said he was just riding his bike.

Saturday, Nov. 13

At 12:30 a.m., officers assisted PCSO at W6311 Highway 63, Ellsworth.

A complainant reported at 4:58 p.m. a dog barking late into the night at 110 S. Dana St. The dog’s owner was told to keep the dog inside at night.

Sunday, Nov. 14

At 3:30 a.m., police received a loud music complaint about 160 Hines St. The residents said they’d turn it down.

Police assisted a streets department employee in removing a downed tree at East Main and Hillsdale streets at 9:35 a.m.

At 11:50 a.m., a resident at 160 N. Dana St. reported a vehicle had struck their mailbox. When police arrived, they found an “jalopy” that looked like it had possibly been towed backwards and struck the mailbox. Police attempted contact with its registered owner.

At 4:39 p.m., a resident at 1011 Southgate Drive reported a suspicious person running up to the door, caught on the Ring doorbell camera. Police checked the area.
