PRESCOTT Police Department Reports

The following incidents were reported to the Prescott Police Department Oct. 4-10.

Monday, Oct. 4

Officers responded to a hitand- run crash at 6:42 a.m. at 272 S. Court St.

At 2 p.m., police received a vandalism report concerning 451 Second St.

At 5:05 p.m., a resident in the 700 block of Laura Street reported a barking dog. Police checked a three-block radius from Laura Street and did not locate the dog.

Tuesday, Oct. 5 Manuel Vazquez Marceliano, 55, Mora, Minn., was cited for speeding and operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 6:33 p.m. in the 200 block of Broad Street.

Juan Carlos Rivera Gonzalez, 33, St. Paul, was cited for possession of THC and possess drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 9:33 p.m. at Broad and Cherry streets.

An unwanted subject was reported at 11:07 p.m. at 131 Broad St.

Wednesday, Oct. 6 Collin Lake McCarty,

Prescott, reported a vehicle accident at 6:06 p.m. at 935 Canton St.

Abdul Hameed Mohamad El-Amir, 23, Minnetonka, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:56 p.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.

Thursday, Oct. 7 Rumello J. Akins, 20, Lake Village, Ark., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:45 a.m. at Dexter and Jefferson streets.

Jemal Abdu Nuru, 34, Little Canada, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:11 p.m. at Dexter and Jefferson streets.

Samaya Nachelle Ivory,

19, Minneapolis, was cited for passing in no-passing zone after a traffic stop at 9:04 p.m. at Jefferson and Walter streets.

Friday, Oct. 8

Police gave an intoxicated person a ride home from 145 Broad St. at 12:59 a.m.

At 11:05 p.m., police gave an intoxicated person a ride to a different location from 680 Washington St.

Saturday, Oct. 9

At 1:13 a.m., a disorderly person at 117 Broad St. was taken to the home of a family member.

Luke Richard Zahalka,

28, Waukesha, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:15 a.m. at Jefferson and Warren streets.

Catherine Jean Vekich, 69, Hopkins, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 11:45 a.m. at Jefferson and Warren streets.

Jason Menning, Rapid City, S.D., was cited for parking a motorcycle in a no parking zone at 12:39 p.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.

Brittany Christine Eddy,

34, Anoka, Minn., was cited for parking a motorcycle in a no parking zone at 1:10 p.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.

Lance Roy Smith, 37, Forest Lake, Minn., was cited for parking a motorcycle in a no parking zone at 1:20 p.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.

Maya Ailani Berg, 18, Woodbury, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 1:59 p.m. in the 200 block of Monroe Street.

Sunday, Oct. 10

A burglary was reported at 10:02 a.m. at 237 N. Court St.

Hillary Grace Peetsch, 30, Minneapolis, was cited for parking in a no parking zone at 10:40 a.m. at Broad and Orange streets.

At 12:41 p.m., police responded to a vandalism complaint at 121 Orange St.

At 6:30 p.m., police responded to a vandalism complaint at 265 S. Flora St.

A suspicious vehicle was reported at 11:19 a.m. Hope and Pine streets. The driver was cited for possession of THC.
