The following incidents were reported to the Ellsworth Police Department Sept. 20-26.

Monday, Sept. 20

At 8:42 a.m., a BP employee reported a woman who took a package of Dunkaroos at 5:32 p.m. Sept. 19. The incident was on video surveillance. A tipster told police the suspect was walking along Railroad Avenue at 1:55 p.m. They found her on Crosstown Road. Mahalia Coronado, 30, Ellsworth, admitted to the theft and gave the officer $3 to give to BP for the Dunkaroos, valued at $2.34. She didn’t want change. She was also cited for theft and trespassed from BP.

At 9:40 a.m., County Administrator Jason Matthys reported 10-12 traffic cones had been taken from the parking lot at 412 W. Kinne at 10 p.m. Sept. 8.

Ashland Johannsen, 25, Maiden Rock, was arrested for a probation violation at 4:16 p.m. at 310 W. Main St.

At 5:31 p.m., a man reported his estranged wife had taken his vehicle without his permission at 440 E. Wall St. He was advised it was a civil matter.

Tuesday, Sept. 21 Amara King, 21, Ellsworth, was arrested on a probation warrant at 5:57 p.m. at 134 N. Beulah St.

Wednesday, Sept. 22

Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at 2:47 p.m. in the Nilssen’s parking lot between Crystle Morrow, 36, Menomonie, and

Alice Monett, 69, Ellsworth. Morrow was cited for operating motor vehicle without insurance.

Friday, Sept. 24

At 12:47 p.m., a person at 469 W. Main St. reported a truck had rapidly cut through the business. Officers located the driver, who had a suspended driving status. He was warned about his driving behavior and given one day to rectify the suspended license or a citation would be mailed.

At 4:04 p.m., a resident requested extra patrol on Elm Street due to high schoolers speeding through the neighborhood after school. He provided officers with video.

Police discovered vandalism in the men’s and women’s bathrooms at 9:36 p.m. at East End Park. The village was notified.

Saturday, Sept. 25 Kathy Duesterman, 34, River Falls, was arrested for OWI at 4:13 a.m. near 580th Avenue and North Maple Street. She had driven her vehicle off the road and it was stuck.

Sunday, Sept. 26

Officers assisted Pierce County deputies at 6:07 p.m. at motorcycle crash with injury at W8001 County Road J.
