PRESCOTT Police Department Reports

The following incidents were reported to Prescott Police Department July 12-18.

July 12

Suspicious activity was reported at 1:47 a.m. at 715 Highway 10.

At 4:03 p.m., police responded to Hilton Street and Highway 10 for the report of a disorderly man. He was not located.

July 13

A suspicious person was investigated at 2:39 a.m. at 200 Monroe St. It turned out to be a cleaning person.

At 11:09 a.m., officers checked on a dog left in a car at Orrin Road and Borner Street.

Ryan David Lee Gerdes,

20, Red Wing, Minn., was cited for possession of THC after a traffic stop for an equipment violation at 7:01 p.m. at W12798 Highway 35.

A 16-year-old Pepin driver was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:53 p.m. at Jefferson and Warran streets.

A suspicious vehicle was reported at 11:04 p.m. at 805 Lake St. (public beach).

July 14

James Buckhanan, 37, St. Paul, was cited for operate without valid license and issued a written warning for fail/comply stopping lights requirements after a traffic stop at 1:21 a.m. at 216 Broad St.

Officers received an animal complaint at 8:09 a.m. at 1220 St. Croix St. No animal was located.

John Kevin Parsons, 49, Savage, Minn., and Lemont Cranston Sanders, 51, Chanhassen, Minn., were both cited for parking violations at 9:24 a.m. at Broad and Orange streets.

Julie Lynne Wegman, 65, Prescott, was cited for a parking violation at 10:13 a.m. in the 800 block of Hope Street.

At 4:35 p.m. police received a report of storage units broken into at 900 Kasson Drive.

Michael Joesph Hess, 32, St. Paul, was cited for no proof of insurance and driving without a valid license after a traffic stop at 11:46 p.m. at 241 Broad St.

July 15

Vandalism/criminal damage to property was reported at 12:21 p.m. at 445 N. Court St.

A civil matter between neighbors was reported at 3:42 p.m. at 589 Northern Lights Drive.

Kelly Ann Guest, 54, Hastings, Minn., was cited for a parking violation at 7:43 p.m. at 104 Broad St.

A suspicious person/vehicle was reported at 8:09 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Young streets. Nothing was located.

Suspicious activity was reported at 8:17 p.m. at 182 Borner St.

July 16

A drone complaint was received at 11:50 a.m. at Flora and Walnut streets.

A fraud complaint was received at 12:29 p.m. at 961 Jefferson St. At 3:15 p.m., police helped a youth put a Band-aid on an injured foot at 805 Lake St.

July 17

At 11:53 p.m., police assisted Prescott Fire locate a disabled boat.

July 18

At 3:33 a.m., a suspicious person was reported at Borner and Walnut streets. It was a newspaper delivery person.

A vehicle repossession occurred at 7:20 p.m. at 667 Dexter St. S.
