PRESCOTT Police Department Reports

The following incidents were reported to Prescott Police Department July 5-11.

July 5

•At 12:09 a.m., police received a fireworks complaint in the 800 block of River Terrace Street.

• Demetrice M. Norris, 26, Fridley, Minn., was cited for speeding and operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 1:37 a.m. at Hilton Street and Highway 10.

•At 10:40 a.m., police received reports of vehicles being egged in the 300 block of North Court Street.

•At 9:56 p.m., a fireworks citation was issued at 803 Riverwood St.

July 6

•At 4:13 p.m., a complainant reported a suspicious person at 1482 Walnut St. It was someone dropping off a rent check.

•At 4:38 p.m., a witness reported a hit-and-run collision at 1005 Eagle Ridge Drive.

•At 5:53 p.m., a complainant reported a possible drug transaction occurring in the 900 block of Canton Street. No one was found.

•At 10:20 p.m., a suspicious vehicle/person was reported in the 500 block of Canton Street. Police checked the area but found no one.

July 7

•At 5:59 a.m., police responded to 775 Washington St. for a suspicious person complaint.

•At 3:52 p.m., police responded to 904 Pearl St. for an animal complaint.

• Angela Tyanne-Marie Morris, 26, St. Paul, was cited for speeding, operate without valid license and passing in a no-passing zone after a traffic stop at 10:42 p.m. at Jefferson Street and 570th Avenue.

July 8

•At 7:18 a.m., suspicious people were reported at 1000 Highway 10. The men were visiting a friend at the motel.

•Police were dispatched at 7:04 p.m. to 1030 Lake St. for a drug complaint. Police spoke to all individuals; no drug activity was witnessed.

• Terianna Pauline Gay, 26, St. Paul, was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 11:42 p.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.

July 9

• Melissa Ann Paulson, 31, Hastings, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:36 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.

•At 7:59 p.m., a complainant called in a drug complaint at 945 Canton St.

•At 9:34 p.m., a suspicious motorcycle was reported at 775 Canton St.

•At 10:57 p.m., a suspicious vehicle was reported at Hope and Pine streets.

• Nicholas Paul Amerongen, 21, Lake Elmo, Minn., was cited for operating without proof of insurance after a traffic stop at 11:37 p.m. in the 200 block of Broad Street.

•At 11:47 p.m., people were separated for the night after police responded to a domestic call at 657 Dexter St. S.

July 10

•Police responded at 12:41 a.m. to 117 Broad St. for an assault. The complainant did not want to press charges; the subject was given a courtesy ride home.

• Duncan Clare Pederson, 27, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 12:10 p.m. at Jefferson and Walter streets.

• Jennifer Marie Johnson, 50, Prescott, was cited for unlawful U/Y turn – highway/ mid-block after a traffic stop at 3:47 p.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.

• Ibad Hasan Jafri, 26, Eagan, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:59 p.m. in the 200 block of Broad Street.

• Travell Jamal Lofton, 31, Oakdale, Minn., was cited for speeding and operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 11:37 p.m. at Jefferson and Walter streets.

July 11

• Justin Thom Rothering- Johnson, 24, Cochrane, was cited for speeding, operate motorcycle without valid license and passing at intersection after a traffic stop at 12:40 p.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street.

•At 3:44 p.m., a complainant requested a welfare check on dogs at 1000 Canton St.
