The following incidents were reported to Prescott Police Department Aug. 8-14.
Monday, Aug. 8 Richard Sue Xiong, 28, Cottage Grove, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 1 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
John Charles Roberts,
22, Welch, was cited for speeding and operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 2:18 a.m. at Warren and Jefferson streets. Passenger Topez Michelle LaBlanc, 22, Redwood Falls, Minn., was cited for possession of THC.
At 7:49 a.m., police responded to 475 Washington St. for someone who stole someone else’s registration sticker. Michael Lindahl Jacobson, 58, Prescott, was cited for theft.
Matthew James Kuehn,
26, Lake City, Minn., was cited for non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop for speeding at 6:30 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
Tuesday, Aug. 9
Officers responded at 2:51 a.m. to the area of 408 Lake St. for a suspicious person. Sterling Dale Stark, 29, was arrested for a warrant.
Cody Nicholas Weise,
37, Hampton, Minn., was arrested for OWI-second and cited for fail/properly maintain headlamps after a traffic stop for an equipment violation at 8:49 p.m. at Pearl and Hilton streets.
Anthony Paul Adams,
44, Prescott, was arrested when police responded at 10:22 p.m. to 2065 Pleasant Drive for a domestic incident.
Wednesday, Aug. 10
Extra patrol was requested at 12:16 a.m. at 475 Dakota St. S. The resident thought prowlers were lurking, but none were found.
King Thao, 55, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 11:43 a.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.
David Michael Denn, 64, Hastings, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 12:42 p.m. at Lawrence and Jefferson streets.
At 5:28 p.m., a Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad employee reported people walking on the train bridge. Two people were found climbing the bridge’s overhead structure and escorted off the bridge.
At 5:45 p.m., a caller reported juveniles on the property at 1233 Pearl St. None were found.
Enzo David McNamara,
19, Hastings, Minn., was arrested for disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property at 6:36 p.m. at 328 Locust St. N.
Police performed a welfare check at 9:42 p.m. at 453 Flora St. per the landlord’s request. The garage door had been left open; the residents had forgotten to close it before they left for Los Angeles.
Thursday, Aug. 11 Robert Lloyd Briscoe, 74, Minneapolis, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 11:19 a.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
Friday, Aug. 12
A hit and run motor vehicle crash was reported at 6:20 p.m. at 475 Walter St.
Saturday, Aug. 13
At 12:30 a.m., a caller at 225 Court St. reported someone trying to get into the residence through the back door. A drunk person was at the wrong house. A sober person took responsibility for him.
Officers investigated an open door at 1:13 a.m. at 1240 St. Croix St. Nothing was found.
Shaun Michael Lemaster,
44, Prescott, was arrested for bail jumping after police responded at 1:38 a.m. to a 911 call at 511 Sunset Court.
A catalytic converter theft was reported at 1:10 p.m. at 907 Pearl St.
Richelle Marie Niehaus,
43, Cottage Grove, Minn., was arrested for OWI-first after police assisted Pierce County deputies with a traffic stop at 8:37 p.m. at County Road QQ and Highway 10.
Sunday, Aug. 14
A suspicious person was reported at 8:14 p.m. at Freedom Park (200 Monroe St.) The person was not found.
James Lee Pittman, 24, Palatine, Ill., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:54 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Pa Dianna Chang, 40, Coon Rapids, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:48 p.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.
