The following incidents were reported to the Prescott Police Department July 25-31.
Monday, July 25
Police received a report of an injured fox at 6:39 a.m. at 804 College St. The fox was not in good condition, so police euthanized it and disposed of it.
At 8:08 a.m., police received a noise complaint about construction crews working before 7 a.m. in the area of Robert Street and Harris Court. The foreman said he’d have a conversation with the crew.
Michael Kevin Klintworth, 56, New Richmond, was cited for a boat launch fee/parking violation at 3 p.m. at Ash and Front streets.
Peter Paul Gray, 61, Prescott, was cited for a boat launch fee/parking violation at 3:15 p.m. at Ash and Front streets.
Joseph D. Berrios Jr.,
Minneapolis, was driving a semi when he struck a power pole at 3:41 p.m. at Orrin Road and Canton Street. The power company was notified of the damage.
At 3:50 p.m., a complainant reported the 30 mph sign between Ellen and Lake streets on Highway 10 had been knocked down. The highway department was notified.
Ibarra Flores Seferino,
23, McKenzie, Tenn., was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 8:10 p.m. in the 200 block of Broad Street.
Javon Thomas, 30, Sparta, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:26 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
Officers responded at 11:14 a.m. to 469 Gibbs St. for a verbal dispute. Both parties were advised about their behavior and separated for the evening.
Tuesday, July 26 Michael Patrick Brooks, 23, Woodbury, Minn., received a written warning for a parking complaint at 12:34 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Court streets.
Taylor Morgan Lindaman, 24, River Falls, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:30 a.m. at Lake Street and Highway 10.
At 10:55 a.m., police responded to 328 Lake St. for a report that a Honda CRV had hit a sign and was still dragging it. Washington County pulled over the driver, Benjamin Jeramiah Graczyk, Albertville, Minn., at Holiday at the Point, and the driver was having a possible diabetic reaction. Dairy Queen’s sign was recovered.
Shillites Michel-La Sanders, 24, Red Wing, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop for speeding at 7 p.m. in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street.
A suspicious person was reported at 11:49 p.m. in the vicinity of Linn and Albert streets.
Wednesday, July 27 Darlyn Yanet Gonzalez Ventura, 21, St. Paul, was cited for operate without valid license, operating a motor vehicle without insurance and speeding after a traffic stop at Highway 10 and Cherry Street.
Suspicious activity was investigated at 1:57 a.m. at 907 Pearl St. An open door was closed.
Police checked out a suspicious activity complaint at 3:21 a.m. near Borner and Robert streets. A construction truck was dropping off supplies.
Dylan Charles Webb,
29, Prescott, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 5:36 a.m. in the 200 block of Broad Street.
James Alan Werle, 57, Prescott, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 5:54 a.m. at Cherry Street and Highway 10.
Chelsea Ann Snyder,
31, Prescott, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:26 a.m. at Oak and Lake streets.
Kelsey Marie Buss, 26, Farmington, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:27 a.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
Construction workers were warned for working before 7 a.m. at 6:30 a.m. at Robert Street and Harris Court. They were advised of the ordinance.
Ciarra Rae Fagerle, 22, Buffalo, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:50 a.m. at Oak and Lake streets.
Brittani Leigh Williams,
35, Cottage Grove, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:19 a.m. at Locust Street and Highway 10. She became uncooperative during the traffic stop.
Amanda Lee Theis,
36, Prescott, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:43 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Peter Ross Sandvik, 59, Minneapolis, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:04 a.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
Chris M. Kusilek, 58, River Falls, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:37 a.m. at Lake Street and Highway 10.
Andrea Nicole Oie, 31, Elko, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:08 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Margaret Ann Chun, 32, Minneapolis, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:43 a.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.
Igor Dukic, 46, Minneapolis, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:20 p.m. at Warren and Jefferson streets.
Jorge Alberto Chavez-Mena, 37, Eagan, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:26 p.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street.
James David Phernetton, 49, Prescott, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:38 p.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.
Jean Anne Fuller, 65, Shoreview, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:48 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Dean Joseph Engel, 24, Farmington, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:56 p.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street.
Brianna Leigh Wenande,
26, Minneapolis, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 3:27 p.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street.
Walter Wesley Short, 28, Marion, Iowa, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 4:42 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
Karen Ruth Budde Lovro, 62, Blaine, Minn., was cited
for speeding after a traffic stop at 5:10 p.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.
Tanner Edward Running,
41, Northfield, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 5:52 p.m. at Warren and Jefferson streets.
Elizabeth Marie Barnes,
24, Edina, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:07 p.m. at Warren and Jefferson streets.
Parker Blu Nelson, 20, Hager City, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:14 p.m. at Wacota and Jefferson streets.
Erica Rae Becker, 22, Altoona, was cited for speeding on city highway after a traffic stop at 6:45 p.m. at Broad and Cherry streets.
Logan Alexander Fernandez, 33, Crystal, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license and operating motor vehicle without insurance after a traffic stop at 9:33 p.m. at Highway 10 and Dexter Street.
Honey Sharon Bischel,
44, San Diego, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:25 p.m. at Jefferson and Walter streets.
Thursday, July 28
Police gave an intoxicated person a ride home from 145 Broad St. at 12:25 a.m.
At 6:42 a.m., six abandoned vehicles in front of 810 Hope St. were towed. The cost will be charged to the owner, identified as Dennis Gerard Skramstad,
57, Prescott. He received six citations for abandonment of vehicle prohibited.
Cristina Orozco, 31, Cottage Grove, Minn., was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 8:52 a.m. at Dexter and Jefferson streets.
Bruce Wayne Bonine,
69, St. Paul, was cited for non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 9:18 a.m. in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street. An officer attempted to leash a loose dog at 5:56 p.m. near 287 Tower Heights Court, but it ran away.
At 9:39 p.m., a burglary not-in-progress was reported at 900 Canton St.
Friday, July 29 David John Lunzer, 70, Plymouth, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:01 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Jeremy John Koenen, 51, South St. Paul, Minn., was cited for failure to display boat launch fee at 9:18 a.m. at Ash and Front streets.
At 10:02 a.m., police responded to 127 Broad St. for a child locked in a vehicle. Police were able to unlock the vehicle without issue.
Officers responded at 3:27 p.m. to 1531 James St. where a woman was stuck in the elevator. Police were able to get the elevator to the lower level, where she got out.
Marc Dennis Nelson,
51, Bay City, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 5:19 p.m. at Jefferson and Walter streets.
A theft was reported at 6:47 p.m. at Ptacek’s (1005 Eagle Ridge Drive).
Karstynn Mary Bezdicek,
23, White Bear Township, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:11 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.
Suspicious activity was reported at 11:31 at 900 Kassan Drive.
Saturday, July 30
Police responded at 12:38 a.m. to 145 Broad St. for a group of disorderly people in the street yelling. They calmed down and got rides home.
At 1:11 a.m., a caller reported a woman ringing the doorbell at 1215 Henry St. She was turned over to a responsible party.
Officers received a prowler complaint at 3:08 a.m. at 475 Dakota St. They searched the residence, but found no one.
A 17-year-old Hampton, Minn. teen was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:04 a.m. at Lake Street and Highway 10.
Brittany Veronica Morey,
29, River Falls, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:40 a.m. at Lake Street and Highway 10.
Vanessa Marie Salazar,
29, Ellsworth, was cited for speeding, operate unregistered vehicle and operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 8:28 a.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street.
At 9:01 a.m., a caller advised people were fishing off a utility boat at Ash and Front streets. They were gone when police arrived.
David Wayne Meek, 62, Spring Valley, was cited for failure to display boat launch fee/permit at 1:24 p.m. at Front and Ash streets.
Kleber Ferreira Martins,
48, Burnsville, Minn., was cited for failure to display boat launch fee/permit at 1:50 p.m. at Front and Ash streets.
A caller reported a motorcycle that crashed into a sign at 5:47 p.m. at 1010 Dexter St. Gail Marie Dahl,
61, Prescott, was cited for OWI.
A third party reported a possible domestic at 8:33 p.m. at 921 Pearl St. When police responded, both people no incident had occurred.
Police received a fireworks complaint at 11 p.m. at 708 Monroe St. Police observed no fireworks, but advised the homeowner of the complaint.
Sunday, July 31
A caller reported a suspicious vehicle at 12:34 a.m. at 1759 Pleasant Court. No vehicle was found.
Julio Ivan Nakazono Luque, 22, St. Paul, was cited for speeding and operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 8:08 a.m. at Highway 10 and Oak Street.
At 8:30 a.m., a caller reported a theft from a vehicle at 672 Washington St.
Savanna Renee Kenall,
23, Ellsworth, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:18 a.m. at Highway 10 and Lake Street.
Paul Joseph Reeves, 57, Auora, Colo., was cited for operating while revoked and speeding after a traffic stop at 10:41 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
Police made contact with a man who was angry about receiving a parking ticket at 12:07 p.m. in front of 114 Broad St.
At 12:25 p.m., an officer took a report of a theft from a vehicle at 363 Locust St.
Rylee Rae Lynch, 28, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:59 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.
