The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Jan. 17 is Prescott High School freshman Amber Maier, nominated by teacher Amy Nadeau.
“I have seen Amber grow academically since the beginning of the school year,” Nadeau said. “She is a hard worker and an all-around great student to have in my classroom. I am proud of the work you are doing! Thank you, Amber, for being such an excellent example for others.”
Amber is the daughter of Randy and Kim Maier. She is involved in 4-H and loves showing steers at the Pierce County Fair. She is also a member of the Prescott trap shooting team. She enjoys spending time outside, being with the cows and farming. When she graduates, she’d like to pursue a career as a veterinarian or CNA.
