The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Feb. 11 is Prescott High School freshman Avayah Patnode, nominated by social studies teacher Jeff Ryan.
“Avayah has done tremendous work thus far in Civics. She is always prepared for class and never tardy with her assignments and Avayah’s performance on all assessments has been exemplary,” Ryan said. “Polite, respectful, and responsible, Avayah is an outstanding school citizen. An active member of the student council, Avayah consistently demonstrates exceptional leadership skills. Her genuine enthusiasm for learning and positive attitude in class are intrinsically linked to her superlative performance in the classroom. Unquestionably Avayah is one of Prescott High School’s finest ambassadors.
Avayah is the daughter of Shawn and Carina Patnode. She is a member of the student council and school softball team. She enjoys being outside and spending time with friends and family. Her future plans include working in the medical field, possibly in neurology.
