The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week is Prescott High School senior Blakelie Schommer, nominated by family consumer science teacher Angela Boles.
“Blakelie has consistently done a good job in my classroom,” Boles said. “She has taken multiple courses in the Family Consumer Science department and has always been a good teammate and does her best.”
Blakelie is the daughter of Sarah and Tom Schommer. She works as a shift lead at a coffee shop and helps the community through the community service club. She is a member of the track and field team, Book Club and yearbook. This honor roll student enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, hanging out with friends and family, reading, watching movies and listening to music.
In the future, Blakelie plans to attend college and earn a doctor of physical therapy degree to become a physical therapist.
