The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for April 22 is Prescott High School senior Cayden Riley, nominated by band teacher Jason Canfield.
“Cayden has been involved in Garage Band all four years of high school playing the bass guitar,” Canfield said. “Cayden is a very gifted musician, multi-talented with playing the bass, percussion and vocals. Cayden helps lead rehearsals and with the music selection process. He is a very enthusiastic leader and truly enjoys the participation. Cayden also enjoys a wide variety of music which helps promote learning different styles of music through several different genres. Overall, Cayden is a very positive influence in music and with other students. I believe Cayden not only has the musical ability, but also the drive to continue with music post high school. Cayden is always keeping things fun and always excited and willing to play the next performance. I am excited to see how he continues to grow as a musician and his career beyond high school.”
Cayden is the son of Bradi and Tom Riley. He works at the Corner Italian and participates in jazz band, the school musical, wrestling and football. He enjoys music, wrestling, lifting and acting. He plans to attend Minnesota State University – Mankato for marketing or film production.
