The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week is Prescott High School senior Cooper Langer, who was nominated by choir director Brittany Kamrath.

“Cooper is such a phenomenal leader in choir,” Kamrath said. “He has earned the respect of our whole class, especially our bass singers, as he consistently leads by example. Coop is kind to everyone and is always striving to be better at what he does. Just having Coop in the room makes everyone’s lives better because he works hard to do the best for the choir 100% of the time. Cooper has been in state honors choir the past couple of years and is a leader even among the strongest musicians in our state. Everyone who gets the opportunity to work with Cooper is better because of it. I am proud to have had Cooper in class and couldn’t be more proud of him.

Cooper is the son of Kjurstin and Mike Langer. He is a member of the PHS Inclusivity Club,  A Capella Choir, Drama Club and school musical. He has also been named to the honor roll.

He plans to attend college for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theater.
