The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Jan. 14 is Prescott High School junior Daniel Rumbo, who was nominated by math teacher Kayla Kinneman.

“Daniel has been such a positive influence in College Technical Math this year,” Kinneman asid. “Not only has it been amazing watching his mathematical abilities grow, but seeing him blossom into such a great leader has been inspiring. Daniel has really been pushed out of his comfort zone this year, but you would never know that by the way he interacts with his classmates. He is kind and respectful to everyone in the classroom and wants everyone to succeed and is willing to do whatever he can to help them with this. Daniel strives to do his very best every single day. It has been a pleasure having him this year.”

Daniel is the son of Daniel Rumbo Sr. and Emily Rumbo. He enjoys drawing, baking and singing. His future plans are to procure a job within his hobbies/interests and to be the bet he can be at the job and make changes in the world, big or small.
