The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Nov. 22 is Prescott High School freshman Dylan Francis, who was nominated by English teacher Tania Sponholz.
“Dylan is the type of student that teachers want a classroom full of,” Sponholz said. “He is intelligent but doesn’t flaunt it. He is inquisitive and asks questions when he doesn’t understand a concept. He takes feedback and uses it to become a better reader and writer. And above all else, he’s kind and respectful toward his teachers and his fellow classmates. All these traits will benefit him throughout the rest of his high school career and beyond, helping him to truly be a future, successful leader.”
Dylan is the son of Dave Francis and Dawn Francis. He works as a ski coach for Welch Village and enjoys hunting, fishing, football, track and being with friends. He is a member of the football and track teams, along with the speech team and Ski & Snowboard Club. He hopes to one day become a pilot.
