The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Oct. 7 is Prescott High School junior Ethan Baker, who was nominated by teacher Shana Clauson.
“I am proud to nominate Ethan for Student of the Week. Over the past two years, Ethan has made tremendous growth, and it has been wonderful to see how far he has come,” Clauson said. “He does an excellent job staying on top of his schoolwork, and his strong grades reflect the effort and responsibility he puts into his education. Ethan joined the PHS golf team last year for the first time, and he has thrived participating on this team.
“Ethan also works hard to build and maintain positive friendships with others. He is a kind, valued member of our school community and an all-around great student. I am incredibly proud of Ethan’s growth, hard work, and accomplishments, and he is very deserving of this recognition!”
Ethan is the son of Laure Baker and Joseph Witmer. He is a member of the school’s golf team and Dungeons & Dragons Club. He enjoys science and plans to attend college to study genetics, environmental science or astronomy.
