The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week is Prescott High School senior Gavin Miller, who was nominated by English teacher Cecelia Groh.
“Gavin has been my student all year. He is in my Cardinal Time as well as the Multimedia Journalism class that I co-teach with Ms. Pasiuk,” Groh said. “I’m nominating Gavin because he is one of the most consistent and driven students I know. He never hesitates when it comes to getting work done, and I’ve yet to find someone who is better than Gavin at making a plan and executing it–it’s truly impressive to see. He is respectful, reliable, determined, hardworking, and creative. In addition to these traits, he is also just a joy to be around. I have no doubt that he will go on to do great things in the future as he is already doing them right now. Keep up the good work, Gavin! Thanks for being a great student.”
Gavin is the son of Pat and Lacey Miller. This honor roll student is a three-sport athlete, participating in football, basketball and track. He enjoys being outdoors, fishing, hanging out with friends, playing sports, eating food, listening to music and watching movies. He plans to attend Dakota County Technical College for electrical construction and maintenance.
