The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Sept. 10 is Prescott High School junior Karlee Wall, who was nominated by PHS staff to be the WILS Representative last year for her great leadership skills.

WILS is a local 501c3 nonprofit volunteer organization that identifies outstanding high school sophomores leaders from throughout Wisconsin and provides them with the opportunity and encouragement to recognize and develop their leadership potential. The students selected to attend are provided this opportunity because they have demonstrated themselves to be responsible citizens in their community and thoughtful individuals in their school. In our society, a great deal of attention and media exposure is given to young adults who act negatively. WILS is set up to provide recognition and growth opportunities to students who act positively and acknowledge that we value their contributions made now and those they will make in the future.

Karlee is the daughter of Andrew and Lindsey Wall. This honor roll student plays volleyball and softball, is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council and went on the Lac du Flambeau trip in 2024. She is also a nursery volunteer at Woodbury Lutheran Church, a summer school aid for Prescott schools, and works at Ptacek’s deli. She also helps with summer volleyball for elementary kids and the 8U summer softball team.

Karlee enjoys reading, working out, hiking or exploring national parks and hanging out with friends and family. She plans to attend a four-year college to study something science related.
