The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Nov. 5 is Prescott High School freshman Lanie Matzek, nominated by teacher Mrs. Wachter.
“She is kind and respectful to everyone she interacts with, and her positive attitude helps create a welcoming environment for her peers,” Wachter said. “She consistently gives her best effort on every assignment and approaches challenges with determination. Her kindness and work ethic truly stand out and make her a wonderful presence in the classroom.”
Lanie is the daughter of Brad and Katie Matzek. She is a member of the softball, volleyball and basketball teams. She enjoys watching basketball and binge-watching TV shows. One day she plans to attend college to become an elementary PE teacher and wants to coach high school sports.
