The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for March 5 is Prescott High School senior Marisa Cogan, nominated by social studies teacher Mandy Bernick.
“Marisa is a conscientious student. Her work ethic is exemplified in her coursework, be it daily homework assignments, tests, or projects,” Bernick said. “Marisa takes time to ask questions and ensure her work is done correctly. She is also a very kind and thoughtful person. I enjoy seeing Marisa’s smiling face when she enters my classroom!”
Marisa is the daughter of Tom and Toyna Cogan. This honor roll student is on the volleyball and track teams, volunteers at her church and nannies in the summer.
“I like to play volleyball, play pickleball, go for runs, swim, and travel. I also love to spend time with friends and family,” Cogan said.
She plans to attend Florida Atlantic University this fall, to major in marketing and minor in real estate.
