The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for May 6 is Prescott High School junior Parker Skeesick, nominated by physical education teacher Jordan Hansen.
“I would like to nominate Parker Seesick for Student of the Week. I have Parker in my weight training class, where he consistently demonstrates outstanding effort and responsibility,” Hansen said. “He gives his best in every workout, completing all reps, sets, and exercises to the best of his ability.
“Parker also takes pride in our weight room environment. He always puts his weights away properly and makes sure both his area and the surrounding space are clean before he leaves. His attention to detail and respect for the space do not go unnoticed. Through his hard work and dedication, Parker has made improvements in his broad jump, vertical, fly times, and overall strength throughout the trimester. His commitment to getting better each day is a great example for others and makes him very deserving of this recognition.”
Parker is the child of Scott and Sonya Skeesick. He plays golf and is a member of Guys Read and Writer’s Block.
