The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for March 25 is Prescott High School freshman River Howze, nominated by teacher Zachary Bisson.
“River is an attentive and lively student,” Bisson said. “He demonstrates academic excellence and pushes himself to not only do his best academically but to do it in a genuine fashion. River balances both regular academics and extracurriculars in a fashion that breaks the mold. When I think of an authentic student I think of River.”
River is the child of Laura Pulk and Stewart Pulk. This honor roll student is on the cross country team, participates in the one act and musical and is a member of the Inclusivity Club and A Capella Choir. River’s top three interests are music, theater and running. He plans to attend a school that specializes in the arts and major in theater.
