The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Oct. 21 is Prescott High School senior Steven Craft, nominated by band teacher Allison Cornish.

“Steven has been an incredible leader in band this fall,” Cornish said. “He consistently takes on new challenges with a positive attitude, brings creativity and problem-solving to everything he does, and is the kind of band member others genuinely enjoy being around and know they can depend on. One of Steven’s greatest strengths is his communication; he works well with his peers, helps keep everyone moving in the same direction, and is always willing to step up when needed. He is also incredibly adaptable and handles changes like a champ, making him a wonderful example of leadership, teamwork, and dependability in our band program.”

Steven is the son of Lana and Kris Braun. He enjoys playing video games, hanging out with friends and weightlifting. He is also a member of the track and field team and Ski & Snowboard Club. He plans to attend UW-La Crosse to study criminology or communication technologies.
