The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Dec. 3 is Prescott High School senior Zachariah Ogren, nominated by choir teacher Brittany Kamrath.

“Zach is one of the most hardworking, genuine, and considerate students I have had the privilege of teaching,” Kamrath said. “He is serving as a teacher assistant to the middle school choirs for the entirety of his senior year as he prepares to study choral music education next year in college. I can’t wait to see Zach with his own classroom of choral students one day! He has outstanding rapport with all of our middle school students and is also a mentor to so many of our high school choir students. We are so lucky to have Zach as part of our choir community! In the words of one of Zach’s peers, ‘Zach is an amazing role model, friend, and teacher and we all appreciate him so, so much.’”

Zach is the son of Bethany & Jeffrey Ogren. He is a member of the Prescott trap and track & field teams, the National Honor Society, musical, A Cappella Choir and is an honor roll student. He also works at Dollar Tree as a cashier.

Ogren enjoys running, weightlifting, music, vehicle maintenance and repairs. He intends to go to school for music education to become a high school choir director.
