The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Feb. 12 was Prescott High School junior Zoe Anthony, nominated by phy ed teacher Avery Potthoff.
“Zoe brings a great attitude to class with her every day,” Potthoff said. “She is kind and inclusive to her classmates. Zoe is willing to step out of her comfort zone and give it her best shot regardless of the circumstances. She is always seeking feedback to better herself and is a willing and eager learner.”
Zoe is the child of Teresa (mom) and Warren and Nancy Anthony (dad and stepmom). She participates in many choir activities throughout the school year, including A Cappella choir, the Spring Musical, One Act, and Junior Choir. She is also a member of the Minnesota Military Teen Panel.
“I create a lot of art, mainly through paintings and doing my nails, and I love spending time with my family by cooking, watching movies and going out,” Zoe said.
She is an honor roll student and sprinter on the track and field team.
“I am still deciding what I want to do career wise, but I would like to go to college and further my education to get a good (and hopefully enjoyable) job in the future,” she said.
