The Prescott Community Club Student of the Week for Feb. 25 is Prescott High School freshman Zoey Voelker, nominated by math teacher Bella Zimmer.
“Zoey is a joy to have in class,” Zimmer said. “She consistently participates at the whiteboards, asks thoughtful questions, and willingly helps her classmates out when they have questions. She’s always eager to learn and isn’t afraid to try new ideas when tackling challenging problems. Her positive attitude and strong work ethic make her truly deserving of Student of the Week.”
Zoey is the daughter of Katie Schommer and Mark Voelker. This honor roll student enjoys hanging out with friends, traveling, shopping, staying active and being around her family.
“Whenever needed I enjoy babysitting for family friends and going to Bodhi workout classes with my mom,” Voelker said.
Zoey plans to attend college and go into the medical field. She would also like to travel to different countries and help people throughout her life.
