PRESCOTT – At the June 22 Prescott City Council meeting, the council approved a professional services agreement with Ayres Associates, Inc. to create a visual master planning package for the approximately 150-acre Prescott Business Park.
The action came as part of the council's ongoing efforts to market and promote the business park following its March 23 approval of an agreement with IAG Commercial for brokerage services. To strengthen the marketing of the property, IAG Commercial recommended creating a master planning document and conceptual layout that would illustrate the desired future development of the business park and surrounding U.S. Highway 10 corridor.
Ayres Associates submitted an updated proposal on June 18 focused on creating a three-dimensional model and visualization package for the business park. The project will include a detailed 3D digital model of the preferred site concept, realistic development scenarios, and approximately 10 to 20 high-quality rendered images for use in marketing materials, presentations, grant applications, and economic development efforts.
The visualizations will depict roadways, parcels, stormwater features, topography, landscaping, buildings, and other site elements to provide potential developers with a realistic view of how the business park could develop over time.
Ayres estimates the project can be completed within three months of authorization. The approved contract carries a cost of $11,000, which will be funded through Tax Increment District No. 6. The district has $16,747 budgeted for 2026, providing sufficient funding for the project.
City officials said the final product will provide enhanced marketing materials for both the city and IAG Commercial as they work to attract new businesses and industries to Prescott. The renderings are also expected to be useful for future presentations, grant applications, infrastructure planning and site development efforts.
