Prescott – Get ready to sizzle and socialize! The Prescott Fire Department (PFD) is hosting its annual Spring Fling fundraiser on Saturday, April 27 to raise critical funds for new equipment that will better serve Prescott and the surrounding communities. The event features delicious food, fun activities, live music, and a chance to give back!

The fun kicks off at 11 a.m. at the PFD station located at 260 S. Flora St. in Prescott. This family-friendly event offers something for everyone:

  • Delicious BBQ chicken meal: Get your fill of BBQ chicken for just $13! This meal includes a half chicken, beans, coleslaw, and bun. Available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. A drive-up option will also be available for to-go meals.
  • Test your skills in the Euchre Tournament: Registration opens at noon, and the tournament kicks off at 1 p.m. with a 100% payout!
  • Live music: Enjoy live music from Prescott’s own Logan Oie.
  • Games, raffles and silent auction: Try your luck at the raffles, bid on some incredible items and enjoy fun games for all ages. Prize drawing happens at 8 p.m.
  • Refreshments and snacks: The bar opens at 11 a.m. and will be serving beer, soda, hotdogs, and chips.

All proceeds from the Spring Fling will go directly towards purchasing new equipment for the PFD. This vital equipment helps ensure firefighters have the resources they need to keep the community safe.

"We're excited to host another Spring Fling and connect with our community," says Chad Johnson, Chief of the Prescott Fire Department. "This fundraiser is crucial for us to acquire the latest equipment and technology to serve Prescott at the highest level. We encourage everyone to come out, enjoy some delicious food, fun activities, live music, and help us raise vital funds for our department."
