The Prescott Kiwanis Student of the Week is senior Ben Olson, who was nominated by physical education teacher Jay Bartsch.

“Ben is currently in two of my physical education classes and does an outstanding job,” Bartsch said. “Ben is always willing to help out when needed and maintains a positive attitude through class. He helps others when asked and is never afraid to do things on his own. Ben is always prepared to participate and makes others better; he seems to always be in a good mood with a smile on his face. It is a pleasure to have Ben in class.”

Ben is the son of Dan and Melanie Olson. He enjoys sports, hunting and fishing and participates on the Prescott High School golf and wrestling teams. Upon graduation, he intended to attend Chippewa Valley Technical College for the HVAC program.
