The Prescott Kiwanis Student of the Week for Oct. 26 is sophomore Vadin Mahoney, nominated by math teacher Jenna Kadlec.
“I nominated Vadin because he demonstrates a high level of student engagement within the classroom,” Kadlec said. “Vadin takes notes, participates and completes all of his assignments in Geometry. He asks great questions and truly shows a desire to learn and do well. It is great to have Vadin in my classroom.”
Vadin is the son of Megan Mahoney. He enjoys hiking, kayaking, soccer and shooting. His future plans are undecided.
