The Prescott Kiwanis Student of the Week is junior Keola Thomason, nominated by Prescott High School Library Media Specialist Joan Simon.
“Keola is an avid reader and has participated in many library activities including Book Club and Writers Block,” Simon said. “Keola is thoughtful, respectful and kind and has excellent taste in books! It has been a pleasure to get to know Keola and I am thankful to haver her as a faithful library patron, supporter and friend.”
Keola is the daughter of Kawena Thomason and Shane Thomason. She enjoys reading, drawing and learning languages when she’s not working at Churchill Market. The Book Club member is planning for college, looking into potential scholarships and preparing for the ACT.
