The Prescott Kiwanis Student of the Week is senior Kyle Holtan, nominated by Prescott High School choir teacher Brittney Kamrath.
“Kyle is so dedicated to choir, musical, theater and all things in the arts,” Kamrath said. “He is involved in every choral ensemble and opportunity offered and has been since sixth grade. Kyle actively supports theater and is incredibly knowledgeable of the Broadway scene. I am so grateful that I’ve had the privilege of teaching Kyle for the past seven years and am so proud to nominate him as my student of the week!”
Holtan is the son of Kevin and Lisa Holtan. This honor roll student is involved in 4-H, a member of the National Honor Society and sings in the church choir. He enjoys theatre, music, swimming, singing and board games. In school, he has taken part in A Capella Choir, the school musical, Show Choir, Forensic, Drama Club and Destination Imagination.
Holtan is still looking at colleges, but said Iowa State is a frontrunner. He plans to major in statistics or actuarial sciences.
