The following incidents were reported to Prescott Police Department Aug. 22-28.

Monday, Aug. 22

Officers worked with dispatch to get Xcel Energy to the scene of a power outage at 4:37 a.m. at 1531 James St.

Christopher Terrell Brunson, 37, Minneapolis, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 9:37 a.m. at Jefferson and Dexter streets.

A suspicious package was found on a bench at 2:58 p.m. at Monroe and Cedar streets. The package contained a toy.

At 3:17 p.m., police removed a small snake from the building at 150 Front St.

At 3:57 p.m., police responded to Kwik Trip (1200 Henry St.) for a minor, non-reportable two-vehicle crash.

Police received a smoke complaint at 9:59 p.m. concerning 331 Locust St. The residents there doused their fire.

Kenneth Allen Kuyath,

33, River Falls, was cited for non-registration of vehicle after a traffic stop at 10:15 p.m. at Jefferson and Walter streets.

Tuesday, Aug. 23 Andrew Joseph Klinski, 19, Caledonia, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 2:20 a.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.

Timothy Andres Brennan, 68, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 6:56 a.m. at Jefferson and Dexter streets.

Thomas Albert Kutschke,

61, Cottage Grove, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:40 a.m. at Jefferson and Dexter streets.

Nathan Conrad Meyer,

34, Lake City, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 4:54 p.m. at Jefferson and Walter streets.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

A caller reported a possible prowler at 12:33 a.m. at 475 Dakota St. No one was found in the vicinity.

Officers took a trespassing complaint at 5:58 p.m. at 470 S. Gibbs St. The complainant said someone had been in his garage the previous night.

Ian Aubrey Tessier- Morse, 27, Hastings, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:24 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.

Jonathan David Scott,

23, Hollandale, was cited for non-registration of vehicle and warned for an inoperable headlight after a traffic stop at 10:29 p.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.

Thursday, Aug. 25

At 10:18 p.m., officers performed a welfare check on two people at 469 Gibbs St. who had been in a domestic argument. The argument was verbal.

Friday, Aug. 26 Jeremiah James Winkel, 31, Prescott, was cited for a parking violation at 11:34 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets. The vehicle was towed.

Nicholas Robert Raffalo,

25, Minneapolis, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 10:09 p.m. at Broad and Kinnickinnic streets.

Police checked on a vehicle parked at 11:32 p.m. at Magee Park (649 Dexter St.) The two occupants were advised to leave.

Saturday, Aug. 27 Ingrid Edaly Galdamez,

31, St. Paul, was cited for operate without valid license after a traffic stop at 12:20 a.m. at Highway 10 and Hilton Street.

Jacob Oliver Unseth,

29, St. Paul, was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 12:44 a.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.

Officers were flagged down at 1:25 a.m. at 117 Broad St. by people wanting to report a possible assault. A report was filed.

Police checked a suspicious activity complaint at 3:53 a.m. at Pearl Street and Highway 10. Nothing was located.

Police responded at 5:54 a.m. to 557 Walnut St. for a verbal domestic. The parties were separated.

At 3:01 p.m., police helped get a brown bat out of the church (269 Dakota St. S.) and released safely outside.

Katherine Fransisco, 27, Lake City, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:03 p.m. at Warren and Jefferson streets.

Brady Anthony Johnson,

23, Winona, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 7:32 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.

Edvard Vasily Kuzko, 26, Ham Lake, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:23 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.

Sunday, Aug. 28

Officers responded to a 911 call at 7:32 a.m. at 528 Hope St. When they received no response at the door, they entered the residence and spoke with the homeowner. Everything was okay.

Isaiah Sesario Fordice,

20, Cottage Grove, Minn., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 1:10 p.m. at Kinnickinnic and Broad streets.

Ethan Michael Laehn, 29, Stockton, Minn., was cited for speeding and operating motor vehicle without proof of insurance after a traffic stop at 7:20 p.m. at Jefferson and Monroe streets.

Robert Ion, Stone Park, Ill., was cited for speeding after a traffic stop at 8:21 p.m. at Warren and Jefferson streets.
