PRESCOTT – Welcome spring and welcome April! We hope you were able to join us this past Tuesday April 2 for the annual meeting and catered lunch. Keep in mind that Gathering Place does 12 noon lunch on the first Tuesday of each month. Usually it is potluck, but for our annual meeting in April it is always catered.

Wednesday, April 3: The Program & Publicity committees meet at 10 a.m. From 12:30-3:30 p.m., meet for Euchre and Bridge card games.

Thursday, April 4: Pickleball will be played at 9 a.m. in the gym at the Prescott Intermediate School (125 Elm St. N.) At 10 a.m., plant your own basket/flower pot at Seven Sisters greenhouse. Pre-register at Gathering Place. Cost will vary depending on the number and type of plants purchased.

Friday, April 5: Memory Café meets from 10-11:30 a.m. at the First National Bank (lower level).

Tuesday, April 9: Pickleball will be played at 9 a.m. in the gym at the Prescott Intermediate School (125 Elm St. N.) At 1 p.m., join us for the Old Fashioned Coffee Klatch with coffee and dessert provided; you bring the conversation.

Wednesday, April 10: Card games Euchre and Bridge will be played from 12:30-3:30 p.m.

Thursday, April 11: Pickleball will be played at 9 a.m. in the gym at the Prescott Intermediate School (125 Elm St. N.) At 12:30 p.m., a Canasta card game will be played. At 1 p.m., join us for Art 101 Watercolor Painting, with $2 fee collected at class.
FYI:  Book club will be reading “ The Second Life of Mirielle West” by Amanda Skenadore this month. The movie this month will be “Jojo Rabbit,” a war comedy/drama.
Senior Gathering Place is located at 1220 St. Croix St., Door 5 of the Prescott Middle School.
It is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. All seniors age 55 and older are welcome.
