TOWN OF OAK GROVE – A town of Oak Grove woman was killed Tuesday in a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash just south of Prescott.
Pierce County deputies responded at 5:18 p.m. Dec. 20 to the crash on Highway 35 near 1240th Street in the town of Oak Grove. A 2016 Ford Edge, driven by Leila Koehnen, 42, Harris, Minn., was heading north on Highway 35 when it struck Lynda M. Hudak, 73, Prescott, while she was crossing the road.
Pierce County Medical Examiner John Worsing pronounced Hudak dead at the scene. Allina EMS transported Koehnen to River Falls Area Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Prescott Fire, Allina EMS and Prescott Police Department assisted PCSO at the scene.
