PRESCOTT – What a great day for Prescott Wrestling at State Qualifiers Saturday, March 16. Twenty-five Prescott youth and middle school wrestlers ran into the storm and each and every one of them gained something from the experience, held at River Falls High School.

Coaches had the privilege of being there to teach, pick up those who stumbled and learn too. The team won 51 matches and lost 42. Eight wrestlers qualified for the WWF State Championships next weekend in Madison and eight more lost in matches that would have allowed them to punch their ticket to state!

Thank you to The Ridgetop and Philander’s for providing space and meals Friday night after weigh ins.

The 2024 Prescott WWF State qualifiers are:

• Will Holst, 54 pounds, two-time qualifier
• Rylan Webster, 55 pounds, two-time qualifier
• Kolton Kellogg, 57 pounds, two-time qualifier
• Trey Reiter, 57 pounds, two-time qualifier
• Walker Murphy, 81 pounds, three-time qualifier
• Benny Block, 85 pounds, three-time qualifier
• Bryce Feran, 80 pounds, six-time qualifier
• Gunnar Doyle, 105 pounds, four-time qualifier
