The Prescott Youth Wrestling Club participated at the Brawl, the world’s largest youth dual this past weekend in St. Michael, Minn. The club was part of a 16-team bracket called the Up and Comers.
Prescott placed first in its division, defeating some of the best youth teams in western Wisconsin and Minnesota. Not only did they place first in the division, they also received the best sportsmanship award. This award is voted on by all the referees at the tournament. This is the first time in the history of the Brawl that the first-place team also received the sportsmanship award. This is huge strides for the club and a town Prescott’s size. We are seeing the hard work and dedication paying off from our wrestlers and coaches.
