Fall is a favorite time of year for many, the cooler temps lead to sweatshirts and shorts (yeah, we know, it is a weird combo, but it works). Take the time to look around you and find the beauty. Get lost for a moment in your surroundings. Fall in Minnesota is the shortest season it seems, so when Mother Nature paints a beautiful scene, we need to admire it, even brag about it and share it with our community. So, let’s do just that. Let’s get outside, take snapshots of the beautiful landscaping around us, share the art that nature creates.
Email your pictures to [email protected] news by noon on Sunday, October 30. We’ll share the pictures in all their digital glory on our Facebook page for the world to see just how beautiful our town and the surrounding areas are. We’ll even print a few in the next edition of the paper.
To keep it simple, pictures need to be your original artwork. Include your name and the location the general area picture was taken, “near 19th St W. and Pine St” or “Afton State Park” is perfect for the description of ‘where,’ that way we can credit the photos properly.
