The Wildcats were crowned Big Rivers Conference Champions, finishing 10-2 in legaue play and 17-2 overall led by the scoring punch of Zac Johnson (23.9 points per game) and JT and Liam Dougherty (10.3 and 9.5 points per game respectively). River Falls starts WIAA Regional play Friday night on its home court, with a 7 p.m. game against the winner of Tuesday’s Superior-Menomonie game. If the Wildcats win, they’ll host the Regional final Saturday night against either Chippewa Falls or Hudson. Photos by Gaylen Bicking.
