For the convenience of the Pierce County residents, we have just placed one (1) Recycling Roll-off Split Box at the Town of Oak Grove Town Hall/Polling Place, N4939 1100th Street, Prescott WI.
Pierce County has a two-stream commingled materials collection system.
In the Roll-off Split Box Side labeled Fibers; residents can place all fibers together (cardboard/break down all boxes, newspapers, office paper, magazines, mail, phone & paperback books) and beverage & food cartons (soup, milk, juice, soy).
In the Roll-off Split Box Side labeled Containers; residents can place all containers together (aluminum cans, tins cans, glass[bottles & jars] plastics #1 & #2[milk jugs, soft drinks, detergent bottles, peanut butter jars & butter tubs], and #5 plastics (yogurt, cottage cheese & sour cream tubs).
The Pierce County Solid Waste Department & Recycling Center has placed recycling roll-off boxes at various municipality locations though out the County. We now have twenty one (21) public locations.
Pierce County Solid Waste & Recycling office hours are; Monday – Friday 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month; 8:00 a.m. – 12 noon (because of COVID19, we are CLOSED on SATURDAYS until further notice).
