A 2004 Harley Davidson, operating by Michael Cardell, 58, was traveling northbound on Highway 63 when traffic began to slow in front of him. Red Wing Fire, Red Wing Police, and Ellsworth Fire assisted PSCO at the scene. The roadway was closed for about three hours while the accident investigation took place. The PCSO would like to thank the traveling public for their patience while the scene was investigated, and the Pierce County Highway Department who assisted with traffic control and personnel.

At 8:44 p.m. later that night, officers responded to a UTV crash with injuries on State Highway 65 at 750th Street in the Town of Trimbelle.
