Pierce County Treasurer, Kathy Fuchs, would like to remind taxpayers that the payment deadline for the final installment of 2019 property taxes is Friday, July 31st.

The Treasurer urges taxpayers to make payments by mail whenever possible. There is also a 24 hour payment drop box on the back side of the courthouse building, located just a few steps from the rear parking lot. Please include your payment coupon with your payment or write your parcel number on your check.

Electronic payments can be made through the Pierce County website. The fee for electronic checks is generally $1.50. Credit card payments will be charged a transaction fee of 2.39%. To find the payment portal, go to the Treasurer’s page at the Pierce County website. That web address is https://www.co.pierce.wi.us.

The Treasurer’s Office is located in the Pierce County Courthouse, and is presently closed to the public due to Covid-19 spread in the community. If you feel you must pay in person, an appointment is required. You can make a payment appointment by calling the Treasurer’s Office at 715-273-6743.
