RF gets input from businesses

The River Falls Chamber of Commerce is continuing to provide resources to local business. It also is surveying businesses seeking input on the impact of COVID-19.

“The River Falls Chamber seeks your input about the impacts you're seeing due to the Coronavirus (and recent decisions which deeply impact our community), how we might adjust our program of work to best serve you, and other ideas you have that will allow us to best support our members during this time. We hope that through collective action, we can ease the burden and make positive impacts together on our local economy,” survey information on the River Falls Chamber website states.

The survey asks what measures businesses are taking at this time as well as seeking out ideas on what the chamber can do.

“Our organizations are collaborating, and identifying ways that we can best support the business community during the COVID-19 pandemic. This could include evaluating upcoming events, providing information and best practices, facilitating solutions, and providing direct financial or technical assistance. How can we best help your business navigate this situation?” the survey asks.

The chamber website has put together a page of resources for businesses seeking funding or business requirements with the Stay at Home order extended to May 26.

“The River Falls Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau is here to help you through this incredibly challenging time.

This page is designed to help take steps to care for your team, create and deploy a contingency plan, provide resources for business financial relief, and report how your business has been impacted. This page will be updated DAILY with the newest, most relevant information,” the website states.

The chamber also hosted a virtual happy hour where members could socialize with each other from their homes.
